My interior design studio...pretty similar to our studios at KState:)

After Erika and I got out of class today, at 2:30, we took a 30 minute city bus to the hillside town of Fiesole. It’s a small town with a main square, a few restaurants and shops, a couple sights, and a great view overlooking Florence. It was a lot quieter than we expected (things are pretty dead on Friday afternoons) and Florence was covered with haze so we didn’t get the panoramic photos we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be going back when it gets warmer. They say to see things before the tourists come in April/May but sometimes it’s nice to have people around to experience things with!

The hike up to the scenic view was extremely steep…calf workout for sure! At the top there was a hillside park and the tiny, but cute, Church of San Francesco. After we snapped some pics, toured the church, and wandered through the town, we headed back home on the bus.
