Today was our last day in Ireland; it went so fast. We got up early and packed up so we could spend the day seeing some last minute sites around Dublin. Our first stop was the highly talked about Guinness Storehouse. Everyone had been asking if we had been there yet so we figured we had to go. I was expecting an overrated museum but it ended up have a lot of really cool modern exhibits. At the end of the tour you’re invited to learn how to “pour the perfect pint” of Guinness so of course we did!

After the museum we cruised by St. Patrick’s Cathedral but only peeked inside since there was a fee. The park next to the cathedral was beautiful and full of tulips in bloom and fountains. From there we continued back towards the hostel stopping at Subway for lunch (fast, cheap, and open on Easter Monday) and picked up some snacks for the journey home at a Spar grocery store.

The hostel we stayed at offered a free airport shuttle that we took advantage of to start our trip back home. For the first time, all of our transportation connections were on time and we made it home without a glitch. Overall, the trip went by sooo fast but it seemed like we had been gone forever.
